Designed for teens and adults, the four two-hour class sessions are open, and no experience is necessary. Attendees will then have the opportunity to demonstrate the skills they learn in a comedy performance on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 7:30 p.m.
The classes are free, but applicants are asked to register in advance on The REES website. Contact The REES (reesevents2023@gmail.com) for more information.

Join The REES Family - Membership, Sponsorship & Volunteer Opportunities
As ticket and concession sales cover just a portion of operating costs, membership and sponsorship support is critical to bringing quality cinematic, arts, and educational programming to The REES. “With each performance, event, or movie showing, it’s been such a pleasure to hear patrons express their awe over what has been accomplished with the renovation. By becoming members, people who enjoy and appreciate The REES can play a huge part in ensuring its sustainability for years to come,” said Lisa Miller, a REES volunteer. Support from community sponsors and members truly is what will keep this legacy alive for the next generation.
Membership opportunities start at $100, and the tiered member levels offer various exclusive benefits, including complimentary tickets, special discounts on facility rentals, and recognition in the theatre itself. For more information or to become a member today, visit The REES online at www.reestheatre.com/membership, or call (574) 337-7337.
In addition to becoming a member, you, your family, your business, or your organization can sponsor movies and performances and help bring the arts to our community. With your sponsorship, you will be mentioned in a press release and on posters and fliers. You will also see your group’s name and/or logo on the big screen before the show. Sponsorships start as low as $350. Contact us for more details on how you can become a sponsor!
If membership and sponsorship are not an option for you, consider donating your time! The REES runs on volunteers. Without help from members of our community, we would not be able to bring performances and movies to our stage. Positions include usher, box office, concession stand, and more. No experience is necessary. One of our seasoned volunteers will show you the ropes!
Sign up for volunteer positions online at SignUpGenius or download the free app to your smartphone. If you have questions about volunteering, contact Jack Garrison, House Manager at The REES, at 574-337-7337.
